I’ve decided that come January 1, I will begin writing for 30 minutes a day, every day, no more and no less. Each day I will challenge myself to create a story in a half hour about anything I like. It could be gypsies one day, mermaids the next, with detectives, drug dealers, and animal stories following it. They’ll range from children’s tales to dystopian literature. Each month will lead with a poem that I’ve either already written or will write that month or possibly this third option: I was considering each month (while writing each day) I would work on an art piece so exemplify the month (season/holiday/etc.) that would act as a leader to each month then I could potentially write a poem in accordance with the art piece. We shall see where this leads, but for now it’s my goal!
