Ahh, the Poblano Picasso, lovingly shoved full of grilled tomatillo, jalapeno, and poblano peppers. You even get to set your own level of spicy. Not that an episode full of anus paintings wasn’t spicy enough. (That’s Season 1, Episode 8’s Art Crawl, if you’re following along.)
Not only was the salsa verde fresh and vibrant, but this recipe gives you enough to have extra left over for those quesadillas and chicken breasts you eat when you’re not eating burgers. I might suggest making it a wee bit spicier than my version of “no seeds and therefore no spice”. It was great! But we’re a spice loving family and I lost a great opportunity. ALSO, my pro-tip for you, WEAR GLOVES. Omg. Can you say jalapeno hands? My fingers were on fire all night long. I thought, sure, I can make a pepper-heavy burger AND try my hand making jalapeno poppers for the first time and not wear gloves while I seed everything. I’ll be FINE. No, don’t listen to that person. You won’t be fine.
Side note? Those jalapeno poppers were bomb.
